The cross stitch is faux cross stitch....it's really back stitched embroidery. Samplers are made to be stitched primitively.

You can stitch it in color or in all Black!

Design measures: 7 1/2" x 9 3/4", but could be enlarged or reduced.

This pattern comes with embroidery instructions and tips for embroidery.

There are DMC color suggestions listed and color pictures of the design. There is a color chart with hints on which colors are used where, in case it the colors are close to each other. Most colors choices are easy to spot using the color chart.
